A corroded anode rod will also cause gas in the water. It's harmless, just annoying. Didn't notice it earlier, so don't know how long. City water. Note that it is only the hot water, so the source shouldn't matter.

Montana residents are guaranteed general deer and elk tags. I am guessing JGray means he struck out in getting a special draw. Assuming he is a resident, he would still be getting general tags.

Re: Milwaukee finish nailer

Many years ago, 40 plus, we pre-drilled and hand nailed everything! What a phuquing hassle that was! No pecker marks was the key and sometimes not that easy to do! Yep. When I started in construction we used a manual Stanley miter box and didn't have any nail guns. I learned to cut stain-grade crown molding with that thing and got good at it - using an electric miter saw and battery powered trim nailer is easy to me now. I still carry the old Stanley miter box in my construction trailer and use it quite often for a simple cut or two when I don't want to mess with setting up the electric miter saw. Still have the same , myself!

Even Dirty Harry used lighter loaded .44 Specials in The Most Powerful Handgun in the World. Clint Eastwood was actually supposed to say “a special, light load," (meaning a lighter than full Magnum load of .44 Magnum), but he accidentally flipped two of the words in the script when they were filming, so it came out as "a light Special load," which gun-savvy viewers wrongly took to mean that he carried light-loaded .44 Special rounds (i.e., even lighter than standard .44 Special) in his .44 Magnum. He actually, according to the scripted words, carried .44 Magnum rounds that were somewhat downloaded to somewhat tame the recoil.

Re: Iran getting lit up in next 24 to 48 hrs?

Iran is a weak state. They've just given Israel an excuse to take out their constantly failing nuke program, whatever is reachable by air.
They will do that.
We are 100% sure they don't have a nuke, because the second they had a deliverable warhead, there would be a mushroom cloud over tel Aviv. Iran ain't building nukes to get in an arms race they are building nukes to slaughter jews. I'm not so sure about how weak Iran is. Especially given that they are able to refine and sell their oil freely on the global market. That includes the US, by the way, In case anyone has forgotten what that fool biden is doing, Including shipping financial aid to them in the billions of dollars. Also, some may have forgotten that Iran slugged it out for 8 years with Iraq in a very costly war, which decimated their male population for decades. In case you didn't know how that affects a country, see stories of Ukrainian women looking for husbands in Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, etc.

He will win like he did in 2020 but the democrats and over half the republican party will not allow him to be the rightful president so yes I suspect the results will be same as 2020. true , but if the Democrats cheat again and say they won this time there will be a march to the White House and both sides will see bloodshed ! The FBI will take their sweet time analyzing all the images of those who showed up, then conduct military-style raids on all their homes one at a time during the following years. Only because those marching (which won't happen but lets say it does) learned nothing from J6

Re: What causes certain barrels to hit pressure before others
260Remguy

I have 4 rifles chambered in 6.5-284, 3 short actions with 24" barrels and 1 long action with a 22" barrel. The long action rifle with the 22" barrel, a Winchester 70 XTR FWT rechambered from 6.5x55, is slightly faster than the other 3 rifle with the same loads. Why? I honestly don't know why, but it is consistently faster.
I cut the chambers on the 3 short action rifles with the same SAAME specs Clymer finish reamer that I bought new and only cut those 3 chambers. The Winchester was rechambered by Ray Montgomery about 30 years ago with whatever reamer he either owned or rented.

When you luck into something your gun likes, go with it. Sometimes there is no reason why a gun prefers one thing over another. But before you give up on the partitions, give it a little more gas, like others suggested.

Re: 338 Wby RPM
CZ550
04/17/24
Elmer Keith was spot-on about the versatility of the .33 caliber cartridges for all of Alaska. To this day, I don't think a hunter could do any better. Here are a few examples: Scores of high BC 225 grain grain premium bullets to choose from. Whereas the 30 calibers have limited options in the 220 grain territory and are generally potato-shaped. They also don't expand very wide, not like the .338 225 grain offerings. I stay at 200 grain bullets in my 30 caliber rifles, and more specifically, the oryx. So where the 30 caliber cartridges end, the .338's are just getting warmed up. Then on the other end of the spectrum, the .338 275 grain swift A-frame is a deep penetrating, wide expanding .338 bullet that hangs right along side the 300 grain Swifts and 325 grain oryx bullets in my 9.3x62. My .338, the scope is sighted to 225 grain interbonds or 225 grain fusions. Both match up well to a ballistic reticle to 500 yds. Then the open sights are always sighted to a 275 grain a-frame handload. In a light rifle, they are at the limit of manageable recoil where a shooter can have a meaningful shooting session at extended range. In treeless winter caribou hunting where the bag limits offer multiple caribou for rural Alaskan residents, the .338's with high bc 225 grain bullets, is an ideal choice. We're talking constant 20-30 mph gusts, and ranges of 300-400 yds are common. Though I've used my 9.3x62 in these conditions, I would've much preferred the 338-06. The lone 250 grain 9.3 accubond never worked out: 4.5" groups from 2 of my 9.3x62 Mauser rifles. Greg(north61) got bad groups with the 250 accubond as well. Then, they're never in stock, probably discontinued. Anyhow, here is a 225 grain fusion next to a 30 caliber 220 grain partition. It penetrated within 1/4" of the partition in spruce boards. Had massive expansion, and superb weight retention. With groups always well under an inch, a true sleeper of a bullet @ $18 a box of 50: The 250gr Nosler AccuBond is far and away the MOST accurate of any 9.3 handloaded projectile fired in my Tikka T3 Lite at 0.44" for three at 100 yds. And it was repeatable. It also terminated a nice black bear at 85 yds from a single shot leaving the muzzle at ~2700 fps. Bob www.bigbores.ca

Why do you suppose JFK was assassinated, he intended to clean house at the CIA. If the Warren report is ever made public, the evidence will point directly to the CIA involvement . I read that Trump ordered Pompeo to do that very thing and Pompeo replied Mr. President we can not do that there would be a revolution of the people. How true I of course do not know, but is it not strange that 60 years after one of the most significant event of our nations history the record can’t be made public. The CYA is the worlds biggest terror group. They are the cause of so much death and destruction. I pray that one day someone has the balls to gut them and every one of the bastards loses their jobs How would you think if they thought Joe had to go? However, the men that let you sleep safe in your bed at night work for the CIA. But hey, so what???? They only do the dirty work while you to beech safely. The former head of the CIA is a registered communist. How is that saving America? Please explain His voting for the wrong person in College. That was when, sometime in the 70’s. Doesn’t make him a registered communist. You are willing to lie like FJB. Thank heavens for our 3 letter agencies. They are all of our protectors and saviors. I sleep so much better knowing they are out doing the lords work lol You should and do sleep better…much better. Addition: And here is a campfire hint….if Trump gets elected, he will be including them in his daily briefings. Maybe you should let him know how that displeases you 🤣

Netanyahu thanks all parties for their visits, for their concern and input towards restraint but says that Israel will determine when and how it will respond to Iran and by what means that it will protect itself. Here’s hoping that your PAP smear doesn’t indicate any problems for you. Haha! Tootie Jew going hard today! So clever....maybe AOD will finally put your candy ass on ignore. Done !
