FYI, the Classifieds is where you should go with this stuff. The powder can only be sold face to face, in case you didn’t know.
Took over two years to settle my father’s business, from getting him into a facility to clearing up the estate after he passed. Good luck with all that. Sorry for your loss.

What’s amazing is all the media hype and world outrage and concern about what is happening in the Middle East. Everybody knows at some point in time this is where the climax of history is going to happen. On the other hand, horrific things are happening in Africa. In the last year a million killed and 8 million displaced just in Sudan. Nobody cares, media doesn’t cover it.

Re: Clint Eastwood

I saw Clint on a late night show about 20 years ago. He said people were asking him when he was going to make another Dirty Harry movie. He said what do they expect him to do, chase someone with a walker. I liked the way he accepted his age in movies.
Clint will be 04 next month. One day I realize the Clint was born in May of 1930, Sean Connery was born in August of 1930 and my Dad was born in Sept of 1930. I thought wow my Dad is the same age as Dirty Harry and James Bond.

What value would you put on an FN Mauser barrel and action chambered in 30-06. In is unused. Barrel stamping fab.nat.d'armes de guerre herstal-belgique. This is the only information I have on it for now.

I just picked up a Protektor 13b, I like it most bigly. I added some grip tape to the bottom of mine to keep it from sliding on the bench.

Bringing this back up. The 30-06 will remind you sooner or later in case you forget, just how versatile it is. In both bullet weights and powders, it seems to happily digest about whatever you feed it. Which in today's world is a great asset.
Any shooting I've done lately in 30-06 I've been stuck on testing one gun, an older M51. 180 gr round nose bullets with no load development shot just under an inch using both 56 gr of IMR 4350, and 56.5 of IMR4831.
Have some old cans of powder that was given to me, so using some of that up. Tested 4320 with 150's starting at 3 grains under max and loaded 3 each at a full grain apart up to max. Two of the 3 charges shot 3 shot groups under an inch. No load development.
Next was BL-C2 using the same bullet and method of 3 charges a grain apart from each other starting 3 grains under max. Loads one and three shot just over an inch, the charge one grain under max at 53 gr's shot under 3/4".
I already know it will shoot under an inch with H4895 & 150's. So fast powders to slow, and light to heavy bullets, it's got a lot of range. Sits right in the sweet spot. If you don't have an ideal powder, no problem.

Re: .223 die set-up
antelope_sniper

We all know that most chambers are cut for 5.56mm NATO. I've yet to load my first .223 round. I do load for everything else and know all about partial sizing and setting back the case shoulder. But this is for an AR-15, so I can't check it by feel.
Do you guys just full length size in .223 dies and bump the shoulder back every time? I wonder because if the NATO shoulder is slightly longer, brass will get worked quite a bit. You'll quickly learn there's no such thing as loading for a specific AR. You're loading for all 5...10....maybe 20 ARs you'll end up with. So, yea, resize back to spec for AR's.

Red rules..
Donna was hot… 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 There a new “90’s Show” on Netflix. About Red & Kitty and their grandkid. Nowhere near as good as the original All the original cast made guest appearances. Except for “Hyde” aka Danny Masterson. 🤪😂 “Donna” hasn’t aged well. Masterson and Kutcher were hilarious on Netflix’s “The Ranch”. They killed off Masterson’s character “Rooster”, when he was charged with rape. 🤪

Why the 358 Win never took off? Do you think if rifle and ammo manufactures tried to market this caliber again it would take off? With the push on the short action magnums from manufactures why not try and push this one again? I know that you are new here. We do have a rifle sub-forum for rifle discussions.

Israel asked for it. They violated the sovereignty of two countries (Syria & Iran). Fahq'em! This! The war mongerers will make every excuse out there for israel, but facts are facts. Israel hit them first. If they respond back again, thid is going to escalate out of control. Why so many think that iran is so weak is beyond me. Many do not keep of with current events and only repeat what fox news tells them the islamic regime will not survive without an active conflict . the need enemies to survive ( they think ). Islam is a religion of death. The Judeochristian legacy is one of life."This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live." Deut. 30:19. They've chosen and hopefully we've chosen. DF So the practice of genocide is a Judeo/Christian legacy of life?? Who knew?
