Re: Advantages of 4A reticle?

The 4A reticle is my idea of a great hunting reticle. I have a heavy 4A in a Kahles Helia C and a 4A illuminated reticle in a Leica Visus, both 2.5-10x50 with 30 mm tubes. Suits me just fine.

We need to replace 2 apples and 2 apricots. Grapes have been dead for quite a while….I really need/want to replace them, maybe this year. 4 Pears, 5 White Crabapple, 4 (other) apples, 3 plum, 3 cherries, 2 peach, a bunch of Choke Cherries, Gooseberries, Currents, Asparagus, and Rhubarb are all looking pretty good.
Now to finish the chicken house, and get the garden started! Have a large row started for Raspberries. memtb

We planted a dozen apple trees last year when we bought our place. Nothing yet this year as I put in 100 evergreens for wind breaks. Everything takes time. Curious how your pear trees grow as we in eastern Iowa and would like to have some. Had several citrus fruits when I was stationed in ga, but can’t imagine they will do good up here. Read up on Solar Green Houses. You could raise most things, just depends if you justify the cost.

Thanks Oregonmuley for posting those pics. Every time I promise myself not to buy any more knives because I have more than I'll ever use, someone like you will post a knife or a pair of knives that lites that fire in me to buy another knife.
Thanks for sharing and helping to keep the fire burning. And I thought my recent order to Tim Olt would be my last. Not now. Jeff makes a heck of a knife….

Re: Poland just did the UNTHINKABLE to Ukraine

I have not offered to send anyone else's money or anyone else over there. I have offered to go at my own expense and help out if could take the place of a reservist needed for the army. I do not approve of the taxpayers of the USA being made to donate money to Israel and certainly not Ukraine. And I am doubly against forcing our army to join in those fights or any other not on our continent. If its free and they dont have to pay anything they may jump on that deal Hastings,, just wondering ,, if you offered the same deal to protect our southern border?

I’ve grown the cow horns for a few years. Ours are jalapeño level heat but I think they taste better. The skin/texture is very cayenne like they just get 6-10” long. Cow horns are one of my favorites.
