True, same with 7. I'd think it'd keep them on private making the ranchers damage problem even worse.

It sounds like you took it more seriously than he did.

You mean like the 432 threads you have made about shuttles when none of us give a [bleep], yet you keep going like it's a book report from back in 1929 when you were in school?

Many of us here do enjoy RR’s shuttle and launching posts.

You and who else?

Me, but I post boring stuff too.

Re: 17 Mach 2.... ? ldholton 04/12/24
I had one in a CZ 452 varmint a few years ago.

plenty accurate fairly quiet also. shot a lot of squirrels and such with it but overall just kind of left me unimpressed and ammo got hard to find so the rifle went down the road

Not I, was Sam's couch pillow.

Coincidentally, the whole site was better when Scott was in Alaska. Certain people who joined about that time or shortly after contributed greatly to the demise of a once great site.

I don't see how this is relevant to the discussion. I've only had a couple hundred different Auto-5s, so, I probably don't know much about there quality.
if Leupold is having issues with tracking and holding zero I would think the springs would be one of the concerns..

The .38 Special is better than ever in strong modern guns with loads using modern components. Everything from 148 gr wadcutters at 700 fps to 158 gr SWCs at 1200 fps. There is little that I do with a handgun that I can’t accomplish with a variety of .38 handguns and loads.

Government security clearance and would loose my job if I couldn't pass a NICS check. But the stupid f'ing Government software doesn't know up from down.

Long story short, have three in jail and it's pissing me off when I hear some of these instant approvals.

I hear ya. I've got two on trusts that I'm beyond the average wait time on. I've had a secret or higher clearance for most of my adult life. What I've gathered from others is those of us with government clearances are scrutinized more than those without and usually take longer to approve. I know, doesn't make sense, but it's the government.

Become the squeaky wheel.

I know of several F4s that got stuck at the NICS check and pushing got things rollin.

I've been spamming the NICS FBI email for several weeks now. Probably put me on the backburner.
