Re: BS Heart Worm Test?

If a dog has been on a heartworm preventative all year long, what is the justification for requiring an annual test before continuing to prescribe the same medication? I think I know the answer, but it would take a vet to confirm it. My guess is litigation, at least partly. Believe it or not, some owners who say they never miss a dose, do. It's not just that owners miss a dose. Dr. Spoo pointed out two other reasons: 1. Your dog vomits up the Rx med and you don't see it happen, and then the dog is not protected for the next 30 days, or 2. In your dog, the Rx med becomes less effective over time. That can happen with all kinds of meds in all animals and humans.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/us-military-begins-process-remove-troops-nigerA U.S. defense official confirmed the beginning stages of the removal process in a statement to Fox News Digital on Saturday, saying discussions between the U.S. and Niger for the "orderly removal" of troops had started. "We can confirm the beginning of discussions between the U.S. and Niger for the orderly withdrawal of U.S. forces from the country," the official said. The official did not provide a timeline for when troops would be removed from the West African country, but noted that individuals from the Pentagon and the U.S. Africa Command would be engaged in the conversations related to the removal process.

This is a stupid sheit idea. The drug dealers absolutely LOVE it. Come in a few $ leas than government dope and nobody knows the difference. Keeps both the cartels and their politicians and bureaucrats in bux too while allowing the market to expand. Just hope you don’t get any laced with fentanyl. Government is amoral when it comes to tax revenue!

Damn, the cop on the other side was lucky he didn't get hit by ricochet. Yeah... SCARY AS HELL!!! Police should be made to watch this video and told NEVER do what these guys did. The officer to the right needs to go to church and get down on his knees and give thanks to the Lord... Then go buy some lottery tickets because he's one lucky bastard. The dead guy on the other hand needed to be killed badly! Just not badly enough to put an officer's life at risk. The LEO's need to get a handle on stuff like this. Folks have been needlessly hurt by this kinda nonsense.

This just blows my mind that these have not sold... I had a pair of these for years and then sold them to get some 10x swaros... for a long time I wished I still had the smaller 8x30's since most of the places I hunt it is hard to see more than 100-150 yards.
Someone who ends up with these will be like... Wow, these are great for the money

Two "possible" cases in old men about to die anyway is a "cluster"?
More chicken little without some reasonable amount of evidence. What's the real agenda?
Just as likely to be an effort to make people shy away from hunting. Perhaps more so.

My youngest brother drew Mule deer, elk, and Oryx tags - not sure what unit(s), I'll have to ask. I told him If he took an Oryx, I'd store the meat for him. What oryx tag did your brother get?
