Why wait for a Porsche when you could just buy a Toyota? Lol it’s a hunting rifle that’s lucky to see 2 boxes of shells in its lifetime. Yes just buy a tikka.

Fairbanks is the biggest town I have ever lived in, and I’ll concede it is full of suburbanites. Too many college weirdos and too many 18 year old soldiers/airmen who have never driven on ice cruising around.
Luckily I don’t live there per se, but out in Fox. Driving into town for work every day gets me my fill of traffic, even at 5:30 AM.

Why keep a conversation around if you're done messaging about whatever it was you were messaging about?
If it was a transaction in classifieds why keep it if transaction is a done deal?

Just Kidding! It is a commonly known fact that the victims entered the showers naked. The showers were for showering, so naked would be the right way to enter them. Delousing of clothing was done in completely different facilities (with high tech, sealed, doors marked with skulls and crossbones and danger warnings). There were no fake shower rooms. They all had functioning shower heads, with running hot and cold water, absent any mechanism for introducing any sort of gas. Many inmates included in their memoirs how they appreciated the opportunity to shower on a daily basis in them, and how they'd get up early in order to avoid the crowds that gathered there for showers.

Re: Montana Deer/Elk Hunters - Good News?

Sherm61: That is nothing new. Our Mule Deer have been suffering terribly in SW Montana for decades now (way to many predators of all stripes - that ARE overpopulated!). Back in the 1970's and early 1980's I would see 125 - 150 Mule Deer a day while Hunting one of my favorite areas - in this same area I have traveled through there many dozens of times in the last 20 years and have yet to see a SINGLE Mule Deer! As far as I know they are completely wiped out in this once thriving Mule Deer ecosystem? The Elk meanwhile have learned to survive around large private ranches hereabouts. A late season will do NOTHING to increase the big game herds but it will increase a Hunters chance at a mature Bull or Buck - again weather assists and rut assists.
DHN: For those of us that are NOT just fair weather Hunters I think this year provides a better "chance" at harvesting a mature Bull or Buck due to the late closure. Stay inside if you wish - I gotta get after'em. Good luck to ya anyways.

Re: 35Whelen - what is your go-to bullet?

I used the Barnes 225 grain TSX at 2550 fps out of my 22" Remington 700 (originally 30-06, rebored by JES ). I've taken a Sitka blacktail, a Michigan whitetail, and a Kodiak Island Brown bear with ii. No bullets recovered. I'm very happy with its performance, knocks deer size game off their feet. The bear took 2 hits to put down.
