Re: Do you have a favorite Soup ??? JOG 04/13/24
An Instant Pot trick: Save all your vegetable trimmings - potato peels, carrot ends, cabbage hearts, lettuce leaves, tomato scraps - everything. Keep adding to a bag in the freezer. When you have enough bulk toss it in a mesh bag and pressure cook it with a little water to make broth. When done throw out the contents of the bag. Use the broth as a base for about any soup.

I've lost quite a few friends and family from this disease I hate cancer.

It’s a fuggin epidemic especially in some families.

Read today that chemo drugs are in short supply nationally and that in some areas doctors are having to triage patient’s’ treatment regimens.

Prayers for your wife and loved ones, Riverc.

What Wray fails to tell you is that the Mexican Drug Cartels now control most of them. The United States is going to turn into Mexico one day in the near future, Politicians and most cops will be owned by the cartels.

Most politicians already are under their control.

I've had both a pre war and a 50's 5th model.

They shoot, you won't be disappointed in either. The pre models are cone cut specifically steep for wadcutters.

Need to find another 5th model Officers Model Match. Pissed I sold it for other stuff.

I had a Habitrail and gopher once.

Moved the little sumbish once and somehow the bottom hole cover came loose and the critter ate a hole in the upholstery of the car seat and got into running around in the car for a bit. Prolly lived on Jelly Bellies and pretzel crumbs that fell on the floor.

Can't have hambsters no more, the whippets would eat 'em

So where is that 'Indigenous knowledge' that they're famous for?

My brother-in-law pointed out that at the same time American indians were painting stick figures on sandstone cave walls in the southwest, Michaelangelo was painting the Sistine Chapel. That is a profoundly stark comparison of the differences in two cultures and civilizations.

Sistine Chapel:

Native drawings on wall of Texas cave.
