Wait until they get the implant version. It's coming. Truth. A paralyzed subject that recently received a Neuralink chip transplant in his brain now plays chess on his computer via thought transfer from his brain to his computer. As you said, it’s coming. Some of it is already here.

Booms be thankful that there are still a few slaves willing to do what it takes to keep this country rolling along.
Blackshart, you pooped your pants, again....
I just did some quick math.
Our 'household' spending is around $500 per day so far this year. $40k/80 days into '24. That is called working for your welfare and reinvesting all your cheese back into America. Your household? You, your wife in a dwelling? Or the farming operation, the buis. a diff. That's not including any work related expenses, just household chit, it's crazy! Y'all gots a Californy woman, right? splains it all right there

Re: Illegal Aliens Can Carry Guns

We shouldn't offer constitutional rights to non citizens or illegals. Maybe so, but that might require an amendment specifying what rights are reserved for citizens of the USA. At the time the constitution was written the citizens considered themselves citizens of their respective states more than they did the U.S. We might ought not go down the road of disqualifying certain people the right to be armed unless maybe as punishment for a crime of violence. And that disqualification is already in play. Unless you want the whole camel in the tent it would be wise to not to let him get his nose in. Certainly makes a mockery of the 4473 and background checks. You mean 2 infringements against the 2A? Haha. Yeah.

Not trying to highjack, but thoughts on a 18" 6.5 PRC for a suppressed hunting rifle?
Shots would never exceed 400 yards, deer sized game.

It is both gratifying and amazing that this thread has gotten this far without anyone piously checking in to inform us that Lee makes some cheap stuff that, while serviceable, does not meet the quality of equipment from superior manufacturers that is favored by truly discerning handloaders.

Universal firearms O/U
Aagaardsporter
03/22/24
Model 2041 28" 20 gauge. Universal Firearms Hialeah FL and Brescia Italy. Appears to be monobloc. Rough, ie not well polished, metal finishing on barrel and receiver sides. ?skeet and improved cylinder.
Any idea which Italian gunmaker produced these for Universal? Are they mechanically reliable? Parts available?
$400 at LGS. Wondering if it would be a good knockabout grouse gun but not worth messing with it if they're prone to breaking.

There's got to be something more interesting in Australia than butt punching.
I spent some time in North West Queensland and I liked it a lot.

Re: Will Leupold survive ?
Bugger

Drop point: You must be new here? Just checked and this is just ayear and a half into the CampFire for you. This attempt at "beat-down" of Leupold happens two or three times every year and has been so for the 20+ years I have been active here! So nothing new here just the occasional Leupold "naysayer" burping up blather and ignorance compounded by stupidity. I know the Rifle I shot today had a Leupold scope on it and it performed as expected! I have been using Leupold scopes (along with their binoculars, spotting scopes and compasses) for going on 60 years now and I actively seek them out when the need arises. Leupold "naysayers" do NOT affect me one iota. haters gotta hate - I guess? Hold into the wind VarmintGuy ^^^^^THIS^^^^^

Very nice Centershot! What are you going to use it for? Just for fun. Blowing holes in targets, water filled jugs - maybe a mule deer, but doubtful. Ok… that’s the goal this season! Take a deer.
