BSA, I wanted a D'Arcy Echolds Legend stock built by Mac for my 338 win mag, He is out, I can tell the Borden Rimrock is to thin in wrist, for that heavy cal. I love it for the 25-06, what should I be looking for as my second pick? I will not shoot it in the wood stock for fear or splitting it.. very best WinPoor
I'm probably not the best guy to ask about which stock to get. I'm also thinking the wrist on my 338 might be a little flimsy as well. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Brown precision on that rifle is a Brown pounder because it is so damn light!!!!!! I was actually thinking about putting my 338 in something like an Echols legend as well. I do love the ergos of the Brown precision, just think it might work better on a fwt rifle instead of a 338...
