Air guns are legal here for small game but they don't mention it in the book. I called one day because someone asked me about it. Personally, I'll stick to a .22, but can see where an airgun would be advantageous for some..
If it's not in the printed regulations I certainly wouldn't take the word of someone over the phone.
If it's truly legal it's written somewhere.
