Seems to be a shortage of loading manual load data for the 75 Gr A-Max other than Hornady manual and it looks to be very conservative. Rifle is a Savage 9 twist Predator - would like to use that bullet for longer shots because its B.C. is 0.435.
Rifle seems to stabilize 75 A-Max bullets OK with max listed H4895 loads, but 3-shot groups are no better than 0.410 ~ 0.650. I will load some R-15 next.
Rifle groups 69 SMK's with a stout 2230 load about the same.
Anyone have any good 75 A-Max loads for standard 223 Rem? I plan to shoot as is this year but may AI for next year.
