All is correct except the butt plate is aluminum. I have read that this should be steel and the aluminum ones where only used on featherweight models. The collectors I have shown it to say that either would have been used during production. Any additional thoughts from collectors appreciated. BTW previous owner states rifle was never shopped for any reason and is now how it was purchased new.

Stock shows some minor marks (nothing deep) from use and the varnish is gone in many areas. Metal finish is still very good. I have struggled recently with refinishing the stock.
