Just back from hunting with this one, pre 64 (1955) in 280, Edge compact stock, fwt bottom metal, talleys and leupold 3.5x10. Shoots 139 hornady flat base into .8 (3 shots). Weighs 7lb 1 ounce empty, without sling. Pretty nice hunting rig, for me at least. Also have a pre 64 fwt in 30-06 in the original stock, it stayed home this time!
