Ford 150 crew cab. what is your opinion????

Why? The only potential issue is spark plugs, otherwise the 5.4 serves it's purpose just fine.

I used to be a Ford guy, but not anymore. I bought my last one in 2001 and sold it as soon as I could get rid of it, taking a huge hit in depreciation along the way.

My in-laws had a 2004 F150 and now a 2009 and they're done with them, too. Too many issues.

That was enough form me. Ford designed it, Ford built it, but my local Ford dealer wouldn't stand behind it. Took it in for a tuneup, because none of the local quick change oil places would touch the plugs, and was told, "If we break a plug it could cost YOU $2k." I traded it for a Toyota about a week later.

That's a different issue than I had with Fords, but your dealership experience mirrors mine.
