Golly, I remember when that was new stuff. And to that end I would still consider it to be "shooting" ammo. As long as it isn't older than I am, I don't consider it to be "old". (He says with tongue firmly planted in cheek!)

A year ago I bought on Gunbroker a sealed box of 25 empty primed .22HP brass, made by W.R.A., that had to date back to the 30's at least. $25 as I recall. Definitely a "collectible". The first thing I did when I got my grubby mitts on them was to cut the seal on the box and line the cases up in my loading block.

If I found that stash of .303's, and I needed .303 fodder, I wouldn't hesitate in the slightest to pull the bullets, anneal the brass, and load them up. About the only .303's I wouldn't sacrifice to my shooting urges would be an ancient box of Savage factory ammo that had Arthur Savage's tooth marks on it.
