Overcast skies gave some nice soft lighting on these bull elk seen this past July 4th weekend. Nikon D810, Tamron 150-600 Nice shot's! I've never come across animals like that when I had a camera. I doubt I'd shoot an animal like that, great gene pool might get lowered!

Don- I suspect his genes have already been passed to the cows and their offspring for years already.
1'- no elk farms in Arizona that I know of. Hopefully not any to come either.
Shrapnel- looks like your local boyz are getting ready for a night on the town.
