Don't at all see that as a start to secession, don't see seccession as succeeding, but at this point, would have to venture just the threat of it politically will at least show we ain't as easy as others have been in accepting the joke thats running the country.

Thankfully we tend to think conservative except for the big cities like anywhere else, but there are enough of the rest of us to still keep fighting and winnning.
Can TX really seceded and succeed, I don't think it can happen anymore today, but I still like the thought in many ways. At least the threat is a finger to the idiots in DC.

Rost, ive never considered the possibility before, but we are facing destruction, and im now not sure the union would want to take on a fight against the Texas Nat Guard.

It would take a LOT of work to try it, and make it work, I'm doubtful of it, very much so.
Of course if you wait longer if the US starts to implode, it may work then.

FYI..... During Reconstruction, a Federal Court ruled that Texas gave up its treaty rights when it joined the Confederacy.
But, there is a question about whether this Court actually had jurisdiction over the matter.
Moving the gold has NOTHING to do with secession.650 million wouldn't even pay the legal fees attendant to seceding.
It's just a poke at Obama.
