Anyone one here used this stuff? Can get some at a "reasonable", yea right, price. Was curious. Would be plinker ammo, but don't need junk just cause its cheap.

This ammo has a reputation for accuracy and quality. I am surprised to read the inquiry worded this way. If I saw this really cheap, I consider 5 bricks and none of that would be plinking. Well, heck if it was cheep enough, sure. I got two bricks now and I paid full Cabelas retail. Some people rave about the amazing accuracy, I would say my experience is simply "good".

Is this something local or can we all get in on it?

It was local--I bought all he had--6 bricks at $40 each. Guess the next trip to the range will tell me if my old 70's 10/22 likes it or not. Thanks for the come back.

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

Here too.

At $40 a brick I would have bought a case.

Kinda weak for hunting and I wasn't impressed with accuracy out of my target rifles. Good enough for plinking with my 77-22 but not really that much better than run of the mill stuff for the extra cost....

that was a very good price on it, now its all about whether your rifle likes it or not. if it doesn't i will take it off your hands at that price.

It has been like any other of the target quality I have tried. If one of my rifles like it the groups can be really good. I also have rifles that it looks like cheap stuff on the target. I have three different lot #'s and they do vary some from one lot to another. I shot a lot of different ammo last week in a pair of CZ Ultra Lux rifles and one liked two of the lot #'s and the other did it's best with CCI standard and Aguila Match Competition. It is also greasy when hot out and I would not want to fill my pocket and walk around plinking with it loose in my pocket. Probably would look like it was growing it's winter coat with all the pocket fuzz stuck to it. It has been around $55-60 a brick here. I traded a guy a half case of Wolf target he needed that I didn't care for and he gave me the Tac two bricks for one.
