Anyone have a video link or usefull information on replacing the stator on a 2008 Honda Rancher 420? Thanks

Alternator/stator? Or starter? Stators are a very low frequency failure part on these Honda motors. I believe the stator moved around to the back side of the engine when they turned the engines 90º. While you might be able to cobble a swap where it sits, I believe I’d just pull the engine and make sure it gets done properly. The actually job probably isn’t too complicated as it’s pretty straight-forward after the cover is removed. It looks like you have six bolts holding the stator to the rear crankcase cover.
