I recently found a very nice early 1950's FWT in 95% condition. I think a nice 270 FWT is one of the hardest M70's to come by.

Now you are double the gay.... If I would have known you are in the market for buying doubles, I would have offered you my 9.3x62mm that you wanted.... laugh.... When is your Africa trip? I'd love to hear how that goes. Make sure you take plenty of pictures and post them here. Thanks!!!

The old girl had some age on her. A 1955 Featherweight to be exact and some wear in the usual places.

I cleaned her up and added an old Vari-X III, and took her out to the range. The first session was pretty intense, but fruitful.

She shot factory 130 gr Hornady Whitetail ammo into less than one inch.
