I need a 3-day hunting pack that doubles s a camping/recreation pack.
I have a Barneys external frame and a Kifaru long hunter guide for extended stays.
What's the ideal 45-50 liter pack?

Assuming you want one that's lighter than the packs you already have, I'd look at a paradox pack.

Paradox Unaweep or Divide would be my choice.

Any one in the proper size from Osprey. Damn things are bulletproof as is the warranty.
When people face the possibility of freezing or starving there is little chance they are going to listen to unfounded claims of climate doomsday from a bunch of ultra-rich yacht sailing private jet-setting carbon-spewing hypocrite elites

Any review of the KUIU ICON Pro 5200?

Col., give Kevin at SeekOutside/Paradox a call. He'll lead you right, and the Paradox packs are simply marvels. Unlike KUIU, they are also made in the U.S.

Luke at Seekoutside worked me into a Uniweep 4800 CI Roll Top Bag with side access zipper in Multicam with lid and Talon.
I think I'm set.
And, I helped them set up a repeatable system to confirm military discounts without too much hassle on either side.
We're all good here.

We're all good here. Well done, on all counts. SeekOutside is GOOD people.

I've been looking hard at a Unaweep 4800. Looks like a great all-arounder.
I'm humping an ILBE now...a Unaweep will instantly take 5 lbs off my back.

And another $400 - $500 out of your wallet.
The Unaweep is pretty sweet, but the ILBE is bulletproof.

We went in for a couple of Seek Outside tipis this year. Now I'm gawking at lightweight packs and stoves.
There's something about having a pack/tent/woodstove all-in under 10 lbs, that appeals to me.
My baseline is my USMC packmule experiences.
I'm seeing the light, I realize there is an easier way to enjoy the outdoors without killing yourself.
