What is the best way to +1 load a CRF M70? I have a N.H. stainless in 300wsm and I've noticed it's difficult to load 3+1 in the conventional manner (3 into the mag from the top, push the top round down to get the bolt started, chamber +1). When I use this method, the extractor doesn't always snap completely over the rim causing FTE.

I have found I can load one in the mag and chamber it. Then flip the rifle over and stagger three in from the bottom, then shut the floorplate. This works, but seems unnecessary.

Is this the correct way, or am I doing something wrong?

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. I've had 2 Winchester model 70 300 wsm's with the same problem. I figured it just came with the territory so I sold them... wink. Give me my pre 64 30-06 fwt and 6 rounds anyday...Just get used to them WSM's as 3 shot rifles.. Just sayin...
