This last one is my hunting partners sow that had no choice but to shoot since it charged. Was upset that it got kicked out of it's bed?

Here's one of the best ones I've ever caught with dogs. 3 dog team - 2 gritty bay dogs and a solid catch dog. We release him alive and well. Figured that old warrior was about the perfect looking boar hog and if we wanted anything to breed it would be him. Florida Hog from Manatee County. I'm about 6'1" 225lbs for reference.

Biggest one we shot in my guiding days in Texas He was a tank. 100% free range hog. 300Win with 180gr Partition. Quartering away took it through both lungs and lodged in offside shoulder. Didn't make it thorough the shoulder , was embedded about half way into the bone. I made the guy hold the rifle in front of the hog so that you could see he wasn't sitting a few feet behind the hog...he was really that big. North west of Austin in the summer of either 05 or 06 don't remember which.

outstanding porker!

You're a better man than I. I've killed some pretty good hoglets, but I never wanted to get that "up close and personal" to see whether I could give em' a hug. Too many fleas and ticks here.

Good stuff!!

+1

Here is one a buddy of mine took yesterday evening after a storm dumped about an inch of rain in 30 minutes. He wasn't huge - about 175 lbs - but he was one that had been cut as a piglet. He'll eat very, very well!

Nah,

No competition here, I do this for fun and enjoyment.

I enjoy owning and using knives.

I luv perforating and skinning porkers

and I've come to shoot much more with a camera than with a rifle or pistol.

and ya' never can tell when a pix of knives and "nards" may just come in handy. LOL
