OP Cropslx Campfire Member C Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 179	My buddy has a new Thompson Center Venture 270 cal. He wants to get DNZ mounts for a Meopta 2-10x44mm. Could he get away with low mounts or does he need medium? Thanks!!

verhoositz Campfire Regular Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,439 Dogwood Tree Capital of Texas	FWIW..I put a Sightron 3x9x40 S1 in Warne Maxima Lows on a Venture 270 at first and felt like a 42 or mebbe even a 44 would have fit too....and then replaced the S1 with a VT CFII 4x12x50 & had to go to Warne Mediums. Ron TIME FOR TERM LIMITS !!!! Politicians are just like diapers, they need to be changed often and regularly for the same reason...Robin Williams.
