Here's pics of my newest 1911s, a Smith & Wesson E-Series and a Sig Sauer Nightmare.

I traded a seldom used rifle for the Smith and got a great deal from my SIL on the Sig. Both are NIB. If it ever gets below 90F I'll see how they work.

Anybody running one of these? Opinions, thoughts, etc.??

I have an E-Series Commander sized bob-tail & it's been a perfect gun so far & is part of my EDC rotation.

Thanks for the kind words.

Years ago I had real love/hate relationship with a 1911. I finally sold it and vowed to never get another. A couple of years ago I gave in to a Kimber Covert and now I have four 1911s including a Ruger.

I've got to stop looking at these things! smile

You can't have too many 1911's. That is a fact Jack.

Those Smith E series guns are gorgeous. I just wosh manufacturers would remove head from rectum and start putting night sights on guns they advertise for "carry"

The S&W 1911 SC comes with night sights. I just bought one and it looks like the 2 guns above had a baby.

Yea. I like the SC but I don't see myself spending 1300 for a handgun

You can get the Bobtail Commander Sc does for less than $1300.

Can't remember exactly what I paid for mine by as I recall, it was around $1075.
