I like the older Nikon Monarchs or the newer Monarch 5 or 7 as well. Good clarity and great eye relief if you wear glasses.

Midway has Ziess Terra ED 10X42 roof prism on sale for either $349 0r $449, can't remember which. Got a mailer today from them but left it in my work truck.

Midway has Ziess Terra ED 10X42 roof prism on sale for either $349 0r $449, can't remember which. Got a mailer today from them but left it in my work truck.

Update*
After using the Monarch 5 10x42 for a season, I probably would buy something else. The center is fine, but anywhere else on the lens is not clear. Edge distortion blows. I won't buy another pair unless I can test them outside first.
Broncos are officially the worst team in the nation this year.
