The youth birch stock was not "lighter" than the standard walnut, except by happenstance.

The light factory stock is the newer style synthetic with the cross-hatched forend supports (on the current guns).

There were also FS and KS versions that were light, but those are pretty rare.

I've had a few offers. All are around $65 and all are with "handling marks"


Gunpartscorp has birch stocks new for $78.80.

I'm hoping fur something in the $35 delivered range.
