I have a 6X36 with the LR.Reticle .Its OK thats about all.I have never seen the Boone& Crockett ,but on Leupolds site the outer cross hairs appear very thin. Are they????Is it a better reticle than the LR or Ballistic Firedot? Thanks ahead,Huntz

Better for what use case(s)? Sometimes thinner is better and sometimes not.

I prefer the LRD by a wide margin. B&C reticle is too cluttered for my taste. But some prefer it. YMMV Look at a B&C and decide for yourself, you may like it better.

Just sighted in my VX3 3.5-10x40 with B/C reticle I can't see how anyone could say it's cluttered! I put it on my L61R SAKO in 338/06 AI Lovin it!

I have both, prefer the B&C. I don't find the B&C cluttered. With the B&C you get wind holds also.
