This is a strange one. I bought a TLE a few years ago and it was dirty when I got it. After repeated cleaning the grooves n the barrel looked rough with slight discoloration. I had that barrel replaced even though the GS said there was nothing wrong with it. Fast forward, I just bought a Stainless Target II 10mm and it has the same issue only to a much lesser degree. I don't know what kind of bullets the TLE had through it, but the 10mm shot lead albeit supposedly only a couple hundred rounds. I shoot a lot of lead bullets and the barrel is clean. Is this something common to Kimber barrels or could it be related to shooting lead in a new barrel? Thanks, Ken
