I'm reliably told that ingwe has a couple of those Mossberg 4x4s in .270 in his safe, along with some Axis rifles in the same chambering.

He keeps his safe door locked so no one knows about 'em.

My 270 Montana awaits me in Texas after a pad swap and paint job from a chap here. It wears a Leupold 6x and will see Sammo's load of the 140 gr AB over 60 hrs of 4831. Then it is off to Colorado in October for elk with an old buddy. I am thinking it should work.
