I believe there's still the better part of 750ml of Knob Creek in his cabinet from my '14 visit. I'd picture it being carried 'neath his dog, Tip's chin in a snazzy red wooden keg. However, Tip's no St. Bernard, and we won't be in Switzerland. There's protocol involved, I'm sure.

I'll also inspect to see if he has yet installed the Truck Nuts on his 825 cc Fiat Panda...

'MERICUH! grin

It's finally here - wheels up in a li'l over 2 hours. I brought an extra suitcase of cough silencers and butt-out tools to pass out to the locals.

Ready says he's got me set up with some funny-soundin' European cartridge called, "Three-Oh-Ate". I hope it's got sufficient oomph to azz-shoot a dink.

Joe is enroute and I will be picking him up in about five hours.

Last phone transmittion was a mite sketchy, but it was understood, he is traveling in style across the pond this time - having somehow secured an upgrade to "foist class".

Said, he wanted me to tell the 'fire...

Hope your friends attitude has changed this year. If not, crate him up and ship to me for proper attitude adjustment! wink

Somehow I suspect you'll suffer through his criticisms and bed hogging. smile

Nothing changed. Look at him:

"You talking to me? Call that hunting? Cause I call this a bed..."

Might as well break it to you guys. The adventure is over, Joe is safely on his trip back home. Last word was from Chuck de Gaulle, Paris.

It has been predictably dreadfull.

Just got in last night. Took Joe to the airport this morning. Home now, nursing my wounds. Please give me a little time - it is all to freshly edged into my memory...

Must distance and console myself a little before I can relate.

Ready, your artful mastery of the english language and the subtle undertones of sarcasm refresh my palate of language. dear man, do continue to regale us of your adventures with the "bald guy" I mean folically challenged. An essay perhaps, filled with illustrations would be most appreciated.

Well done you two, can't wait for the details!!

Robster,

thank you for your kind words. As Joe is found of saying, I am able to adulterate more than one language...

Charles,

we had a very good time.

To all, that have been follwing my drivel here - thank you very much for your interest. My friend Joe started a thread taking this further with clipping about our hunt together. I think it best to continue there:

East meets West Take 6

Always one to charge into the middle of things, Joe has omitted mode of locomotion:

See y'all on the other thread.
