Figured I'd post here before going the new route and piecing it all together
I'm looking for a m700 in .243, possibly 7-08. Would like to have it wrapped in some sort of decent stock. An Alaskan or medalist would be fine. As long as it's slim. No heavy contours, or Monte Carlo style.
Anyone have something similar to the above description they might be looking to part ways with?

I have a sporter remington BDL SPS barrelled action in 243. Has a 24" barrel. It is sitting in a mountain countour McMillan in woodland molded in camo, not sure on stock model name. Its light though. My buddy told me today that he was going to sell his LVSF 243 it either has a ti takeoff on it or a McMillian I'd have to find out. I know Kampfeld gave it a makeover and has a Jewel trigger

Jerrad...I'm not really looking to pay for that much in custom work and what not. Just looking for a bare bones rifle with something a little better than the Tupperware that comes with them.
Josh- I'm looking really hard at that one. Been watching it since it was posted...really wanting a .243 though. Havent played with one in awhile
