I want to swap my safety for a LH Safety, unable remove factory one. Was easy on my Model 12 16 gauge. But my Win model 12 12 gauge will not budge. Any hints or ideas? With a pin in small hole in safety you turn it then push it out, unable to turn cross bolt.

take a pair of needle nose vice grips tape the jaws and put the pin back in the hole and clamp on and turn the safety , it should move and push out

push the safety to the pin depresses the plunger spring and then rotate the safety and it should just slide out .

Im trying to swap the big head left hand safety for a standard right hand in my M-12. The large head hits the trigger guard and wont turn, any ideas on how to make the swap?
