I contacted Z-Hat about changing out a 336 SS and going with a 7-30 Waters. His price was way to rich for my blood, couldn't afford it...
What you going with ? 25-35 Win

Have you contacted Marlin? They could put on a new barrel and I promise they would be the cheapest.

The smith Dr Encore is talking about is Jeff Johansen. His work is great and he is a good guy. His phone# is 607-988-9023. He is in Unadilla, NY. As far as Nonneman, he recently re chambered a 336 to 307 Win and it took 5 weeks. The work was done well and reasonable. Don't think you could go wrong with either smith.
