I traded a knife I made to a member on another forum for some Mini-Mag's but somehow he's sideways with his mail carrier,,,, or doesn't have a mailbox,,,, or something???? Anyway,,, first he couldn't figure out how to ship ammo and then USPS returned the knife as undeliverable so we decided to forget the whole thing. Well he got to feeling bad about jerking me around so he suprised me with this hand made call today. Pretty nice gesture IMO. Yep I haven't been doing much Coyote calling in my "senior years"  but I'm now inspired to make a few stands soon as the fur primes up.

A very nice gesture --- and a good looking call. A new piece of equipment always increases my level of enthusiasm. It just wouldn't be right not to give it a try or two.

I'd second spalted maple. I have some spalted wood calls from Kerry Carver, sharp looking stuff. How's it sound Charlie?

It ain't no Weems or Dan Thompson (I'm biased:) but it sounds pretty darn good GC.
I had "assumed" the fellow that sent it to me made it but he said he bought it from Robert Patrick.
