I'm a well documented '92 enthusiast, and a big proponent of the .357 magnum. I just found a Browning in .357! It has a couple serious marks in the wood, but the metal is 99%. What should I insure it for? Or God forbid, if I need to sell it, what's a fair price?

In Nirvana nothing bad happens... Forget about that crap, shoot it, enjoy and be happy.

I lost a Browning 92 in .357 to a thief.

Had it insured for $800. Insurance payed off.
Wouldn't have sold it for $1000.

GREAT little rifles!

That's exactly my intent. It's got just enough wear/handling marks to make that the easy choice, though I have very few I won't shoot.

I have a 92 in 44mag. Love it for fast shots on pigs. Beautiful guns with wonderful actions. I paid less than $500 for mine not that long ago. SCORE! :-)

Oh -one word of advice\caution. If you wear a wedding ring- either remove it when carrying the rifle or wear a glove on that hand. The stock an mar fairly easily.

I am about to post in the deer hunting section on ammo for deer. some of you might be interested.
