Today I fired some Barnes 127 LRX from the 6.5SLR. The capacity is barely larger than a .264 Win Mag. The bullet length is measured at the ogive.

They were way to the left. I move the windage 13 clicks to the left to get to the "L" I use for sighting. Lord willin' I will fire ten 70.5 grain loads today to see if it is really going to work. While I'm there I will fire the 6.5RUMLN five times. Its load will be 94.5 grains of US869, Federal 215 Magnum, and LRAB 142. I think the velocity will be about 3,400 feet per second.
