Rocky started teaching me the details of knife making last week. He did most the tuff stuff, but let me play around during the whole process. This is the first knife I had a hand in actually making. I made some Coconut Micarta stuff for the scales and we finished up the knife tonight. I have some improving to do on the Micarta, but Rocky made sure the steel was good to go before letting me walk out the door.

My first didn't look like that. Not even close. Good job.

When it comes to knives and guns, what does NEED have to do with it?

I don't want to pretend that I made the knife. I was allowed to help. Went through all the steps and learned. Hopefully I will get to muck one up soon. I know it will not look near as nice.
