I purchased an Excaliber Matrix 330 and the trigger is horrible. Any tips on removing the gritty pull? Are there aftermarket triggers available? I shot a compound with a release for years but a shoulder injury forced me to go to a crossbow and I just can't get use to it. Thanks, Mike

Call Excaliber! Mine has a very nice trigger, much better than I expected out of a crossbow.

Trigger Tech makes replacement trigger in either single stage or two stage design. I sprayed moly in my Excalibur trigger and shot it. After 50 or so shots a lot of the gritty feel was gone. I still didn't like the take up and ended up trading for a Kodabow - nice trigger out of the box.
