This one is my favorite. It's a Savage Anschutz M-184. Shoots High Velocity Hollow Points into a dime size group at 50 yards with about any ammo I have tried.

When shooting paper I like the bolt rifles better than the lever guns.

I'm assuming it is because it possibly interferes with the scope?

cool Good catch, but no that's not an upside-down front sight. What you see there is the front sight mounting block for an aperture tunnel sight and with the sight dismounted. I have since removed the mounting block.

Copied/edited from ArmsList.com:
The Cooey Model 82 was a single shot bolt-action .22 caliber target rifle used in training Canadian Army and RCAF cadets during WWII.
Large quantities later became available on the civilian market after the war as military surplus. Well regarded for its durability and reliability, particularly in the harsh environment of the Canadian winter, a Model 82 in good-to-excellent condition can fetch as high as $300-$400.
