OP mrchongo Campfire Regular M Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 2,434 Vermont	At my LGS today, I found a year-2000 JM Marlin Model 444P (ported 18.5" barrel) with a big-loop lever. It seemed to have a very reasonable price on it, and my cursory examination didn't find any noticeable damage or wear. What do you suppose a rifle like that would go for in your neck of the woods? If it had been specific and close to me, you would have someone competing with you for the gun! I suspect there are some dealers out there who aren't aware of the breadth of the fervor over JMs.
