Been making homemade salsa similar to this for a while now.
With just a few variations, a tasty base for a marinara sauce as well.

I'll give it a try this week. Like you we should have tons of cherry tomatoes towards Labor Day. And always have peppers!!

Funny thing is now that I'm eating it, has a totally different flavor than when first mixed up. Morphed into a sweet, hot condiment. The sweet must have come from the cherry toms...I didn't add any sugar to it!
