The velocity on some earlier shooting was 3,500 feet per second for #11. I put one click left in and will load #10 for hunting. This rifle is zeroed at 300 yards. Edited to add: I shot the group and marked the shots on a piece of paper by seeing them through the Leupold VX-6 4-24X52 set on 24X.

And to think there are naysayers.

rost495,
It actually holds 109 grains to the top of the neck. Since I am no longer impressed with myself, I took advice from one of our.com friends about .2 grains. You can probably see #10 would not have showed up with .3 grains.

Heck, I'd load a couple hundred and go fill an ark. I mean to put two so close together @ 410 yards you're golden. I wouldn't even worry about ES or SD myself. Throw a Burris Eliminator on there and rock on dude.

Would someone mind explaining a ladder test and why #10 is the winner here? I get that a ladder is done at longer range and is one shot per load. How do you pick a winner?

Strick9,
I have run this powder charge clear up to 93.0 grains with no bolt lift problems. But when I started to fire them at 91.8 grains I immediately had bolt lift problems. I will back off to #2 and do some checking with different primers today, Lord willin'.
