Well, it may not be what you wanted to hear, but you could always take some tin snips to a 6" holster.

Trust me, I thunk that...

I'm ordering a Threepersons, we'll see what happens this go around.

Simply Rugged makes one hell of a "Threepersons" as well.

tjm10025 - "...always take some tin snips to a 6" holster. " Problem with this solution is, unless you have a very good eye (with a steady hand), it will look like tin snips taken to a longer holster. Surely, somebody in the after-market, has exactly the holster to fit the piece. Homesteader

Shouldn't be a big deal getting one for a 5" K-frame from any of the true custom makers. I draw up new patterns for oddball configurations all the time.

My experience with El Paso Saddlery has been 100% positive but I did notice a slight downturn in quality since Ryan took over. They're also less willing to do alterations to their standard offerings.

I can heartily recommend Big Rob's, he does excellent work.

That makes no sense whatsoever.

Waiting times are a fact of life in the custom holster world. If you don't like it, there's always Galco and Bianchi--both make perfectly serviceable holsters that are available off the shelf.

Kirkpatrick makes some excellent gun leather.

Had a complete 1911 rig by them for about 20 years now.

I never had a problem with waiting. I have a problem with paying 100% up front and told 8 weeks, then when the 12 week mark comes it takes me a week for them to even confirm they took my order and told it will be about 2 weeks. Then 6 weeks go by and I get to play the same game over again. That went on for 9 months.

I have noticed lately that it's not on the site. Not sure why.

Rob replied back on email, said since he came out with the Cattleman, he stopped the Threepersons. There is a guy that he has that makes them, but you need to go through Rob for a quote.

I'm glad this thread drug on long enough for Big Rob to surface. I hadn't heard of him, but really like his version of the Sparks 200AW, call The Shield. There's a lot to like about that design.

that is a nice looking Threeperson's. I didn't know he made them, either.

I need to quit spending money like Congress this month, but will order from him in the near future. I can apply that model to quite a few revolvers.
