To you Southern Gentlemen I have a question on proper dress. I have three new pair of Texas Jeans. While ironing a shirt this morning was struck with a thought. I know I can wear Wranglers without ironing them but is it a sin to wear Texas brand jeans without pressing them first?

Don't iron jeans... Only dress shirts and boxer shorts.

No man irons jeans. Occasionally they have attentive wives who insist on doing it, and the man humors her.

is it a sin to wear Texas brand jeans without pressing them first? Are you George Strait? If not, leave the ironing for your shirts

You don't wash them... Why would they get nasty? They wear like dress pants. Hung up when not being worn and hung outside one a month or so. 1. Levi’s CEO Says Don’t Wash Your Jeans As gross as it may sound, the CEO of Levi Strauss – aka the jean expert of experts – says you shouldn't wash your favorite pair of denim. “We try to educate the consumer…If you talk to real denim aficionados, they’ll tell you don’t wash your blue jeans, just take a sponge or toothbrush,” said Levi’s CEO Chip Bergh at Fortune’s Brainstorm Green conference. “I know it sounds totally disgusting. I know it does, but believe me, it can be done.” Jeans have been around a long time. Longer than this trend of washing everything worn once. I don't chit my pants or drop food on my lap and I shower so why would a pair of slacks get nasty. These are not work pants. Those are my dungarees that remain in the mud room with my boots, hung on a hook.

But I suppose if you're never around anything more disgusting than a corner office cubicle that might work. Sound totally "All Hot No Cattle".

Thank goodness. I don't have to iron Texas Jeans. Sam and the Levi crowd. I loved my 501s until the day I checked their web page. They wanted me to sign a petition to own all firearm ownership in America to save the children. Then the wanted me to support a music group that was 90% cop killer noise without a note of music. I have never permitted a Levi anything in my home since. Look at TEXAS JEANS and you will find a wide selection of jeans made in the USA form US made materials and at $20.00 a pair the price is way better the Levi foreign made crap that supports thing I do not. Fresh ironed shirt tucked in to boot cut Texas Jeans, 1911 IWB carried on my hip, two spare mags hidden away on my left side, Filson belt holding everything in the right place, gig line straight, Tony Llama boots, Filson vest, and a hat to keep the rain of my freshly shaved head. I am ready to take a lady to town.
