Lil'Gun has done well for me, and for other folks.

Just started working with the same rifle. found a longer stock / butt pad to be near a necessity.

Win 296 / H110 or Lil gun seem to be the go to powders 110 to 130 grain projectiles are the bullets I am looking at thus far.

Not to steal the thread though If someone would work up Some load data for Vihtavuori N310 for say a 110 grain v-max and or 110 grain round nose; subsonic to max pressure ball park. I still would like to see some data for a quieter loads. Quick load data would be greatly appreciated for ball park starting points. PM me if you wish.

I see the risk here for double charge though in similar aplications the N310 seems to offer a lot in the way of quiet, consistency & clean burning characteristics.

45/70,it's almost a religion.

If you have to take a second shot then you probably shouldn't have taken the first shot.

I have gotten excellent results out of 18 gr of H110 and 296 with 125 Gr Nosler Btips and Hornady SST's.
