Want to own a classic at an affordable price?

I have a 1962 Winchester 270 FWT that has been refinished but looks great!

The wood has been refinished and I suspect that the bluing has been, as well. The bolt knob is shiny, but the bolt # matches the receiver. The checkering is very good.

This is a nice looking Pre-64 model 70 in a classic caliber.

I am asking $750.00 for the rifle, which includes the one piece bases and rings, shipped and insured within the CONUS. The scope is available, but not part of the deal.

The rifle shoots cheap, 130 grain Hornady factory ammo at less than one inch.

Questions are welcome, but the first "I'll Take It", posted here, followed by a PM gets this classic rifle.

I would prefer a USPS Money order or a personal check, with time to clear.

As always, You have a three day, non-firing inspection period to return the rifle, at your cost, if you are not satisfied.

Please take a look;

Sure you don't want to think about it?

JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H

I think there are a few of us here that wouldn't mind having 2 of them. I know my buddy raybass would have snagged that one for his nephew if he would have seen it in time... Nice snag DMD....

Just received the rifle and better than described. Wood has been refinished and bolt handle polished, but little wear on the alloy floor plate, which is telling on featherweights. Blue is super clean with not much edge wear and in my opinion original.

Thank you, Don.

Love seeing nice Winchesters change hands between friends here on the forum, instead of out in the world.

I think folks here really appreciate them far more.

BTW- I would have jumped on it, too, had I seen it.
