OP TATELAW Campfire Tracker T Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 3,082 NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI	This is an 80's model with less than a box of shells through it in LNIB condition. Guy wants $500 for it. I know that's not a great deal on most normal cartridges in an M77, but I think I've read on here where the 223 is tough to come by. What say you guys? Good deal or pass? Those who must raise their voice to get their point across are generally not intelligent enough to do so in any other way.

No markings on the bolt face and still some grease on the bottom side of the bolt. Other than a couple of spots where it looks to have been bumped in the safe, it could pass for brand new. Those who must raise their voice to get their point across are generally not intelligent enough to do so in any other way.

OP TATELAW Campfire Tracker T Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 3,082 NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI	It's not a tang safety. It's a Mark II. Perhaps it's not an 80's model? 90's maybe? The original owner was in his 80's so he might have remembered incorrectly about how long he'd owned it. The guy I bought it from got it from the original owner as a deer rifle for his son. He then came upon a 22-250 and decided to go with it and sell this 223. He also had an older Mini-14 he'd gotten from the same guy. It also looked brand new. Last edited by TATELAW; 09/01/15.
