Tennessee is in it's seventh elk hunting season after an extensive elk restoration program.
Four permits were drawn for the entire state in the general quota drawing (9285 applicants). My nephews son drew a permit for this season. To say he is stoked is an understatement.

Cool, I can only dream of driving about an hour North of home to hunt elk as oppose to my normal 20+ hour drive.
