Nice trucks, fellas.

Miles, you think you have enough room in the back for someone to take a long trip comfortably?

My son is 6'1" tall and weighs 275 lbs. He has ridden in the back for 6 hours in my double cab. He complained of knee room or actually the lack of knee room. However, for average sized adults or kids the space is adequate.

Not for large grown ups, but yes for kids. Smaller grown up might be all right, but I am 6'4" and weigh aroung 270 right now, but have been heavier. I don't plan to ride in the back seat. miles

OK, now I have a question. This truck has blue tooth technology, so what phone do I need to get? I just want a phone. I have a camera to take pictures with and will not be playing games. Don't text, and don't talk on the phone much, but it would be better to have it work through the truck speakers. miles

I have a 2014 with only 2750 miles on it because I don't drive much. I love the truck. I have the big V8 and average about 12.5 mpg but I knew that going in. In exchange for the low gas mileage I now have a truck that I don't have to take to the local Ford dealer and get ripped off every few months for some kind of sensor or other problem. No more Fords for me. Our local Ford dealer is a total rip-off on service charges. The Tundra is the nicest truck I have ever owned.

Just about any cell phone sold today is blue tooth capable. It's super easy to synchronize with Toyota's system.

My 2015 has 10,000 miles on it now. Love it so far. The old 2008 had 144,000 when I sold it for a little over half of what I paid for it new. Both had the 5.7.

Your phone will have a setting that allows it to find and connect with any active Bluetooth system in the area. If you can't find it, you night have to download the manual for it to find out how to set it up.

3 years ago we went truck shopping. We would have bought a Tundra but we needed a 3/4 ton and they don't make one. We ended up with a Dodge Cummins. My wife loved the Tundra for its little extras like cup holders and little storage spaces. She also liked the independent temperature controls. The higher level trim packages in Dodges have those, too, but ours doesn't.

IMO they made the rear cab too big in my Crew Max.

The main reason we did not buy the Crew Max was that we actually carry a lot of stuff in the bed of our truck. A 54" bed just doesn't cut it.
Even the Tacoma had a 6 1/2 ft bed and.

Just buy the cheapest ($0.97) contract iPhone at Sam's club. Assuming you are willing to get into a contract or are currently in one and eligible for an upgrade, the iPhone is the least trouble of the bunch.
